The Sinani Premier League (SPL) is the heartbeat of our community sports ministry. Established in 2020, the league provides a platform for youth across our various Life Centres to discover their identity, develop their character, and grow in discipline. Through soccer and netball, we model servanthood, respect, and leadership, reaching young men and women right in the heart of their own communities.

We launched the SPL to create a space where young people could grow in confidence and find a sense of belonging. Throughout our first few seasons, we witnessed incredible growth in the character and discipline of our players as they competed within their communities. A major highlight of this journey was in 2021, when we had the privilege of hosting our Championship Game at the Mbombela Stadium. While the daily work happens on the local fields, stepping onto a world-class pitch was a dream come true for our young men and has set a standard of excellence that continues to inspire our vision.

This season, the SPL soccer league focuses on our Under 15 teams, with plans for further expansion in the coming years. These teams represent the local spirit of our different Life Centres and community partners:

Seeing the undeniable positive impact on our young men, we expanded the league to include netball. This has allowed our young ladies the same opportunity to grow, compete, and thrive within a supportive, Christ-centred environment.

Our netball programme continues to go from strength to strength. We are proud to share that our girls have now joined the Ehlanzeni Netball League, providing them with even greater opportunities for competitive growth and development. 

While the SPL reaches hundreds of youth across our communities, we recognized a need for a more intentional, high-level discipleship environment. Following the biblical example of Jesus—who preached to the masses but poured deeply into a smaller group—we established
Sinani United FC (SUFC) in 2023.

SUFC brings together the top players from our various SPL communities for elite competition and intensive mentorship.
