eGoshen Kids Club is located in Elandshoek, a small rural community where many unemployed and seasonal workers are settled, situated near our Church Unlimited Kaapschehoop location.

What is unique about our partnership with eGoshen is that this centre is led by a local church called Uniting Reformed Church Elandshoek. Leaders of both churches found each other and quickly recognised the spirit to care for the most vulnerable. The URC Elandshoek pastor has great organisational talents. Together with her congregation, they now run a small outdoor kitchen from their church property for the purpose of serving the orphaned and vulnerable children in Elandshoek. The people working with her have a heart for the poorest of the poor and show this in their vision to see a fully operating life centre.

Daily activities include reading, homework assistance, and playing games with the kids.
In addition to feeding the children, this team focuses on doing home visits to properly assess the vulnerable families in their community. Their greatest challenge is to have a consistent supply of food to feed those that are hungry.
