Siyanakekela Life Centre

Mpakeni

The Siyanakekela Life Centre’s focus is to grow and equip their team to ensure that the vulnerable children in this community are cared for well. The care workers attend out Care Worker Equip times and are inspired to implement what they learn.  There is a need for a reliable source of water for their daily washing, cooking and drinking needs.  Despite the community’s struggle with water, there has been success in the area of farming.  A disabled father of 3 of the children who attend the centre has been trained through our partners at Rehoboth Foundations for Farming Training Centre.  He is now donating healthy, nutritious, organic vegetables to the Siyanakekela Life Centre to enrich our children’s meals.
