For one week this July, four of our communities came alive with music, movement, and dance, made possible by Tanya Edwards-Smith and Henry Chikerema, who connected us with three exceptional instructors who volunteered to teach our children during the school holidays.

Sifiso Morobe is an internationally acclaimed performing artist, choreographer, and educator whose extensive global experience inspires excellence in dance, theatre, and the performing arts.

David Matamela is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, creative director, and educator whose extensive experience in stage, television, and international dance continues to inspire and develop performers.

Salome Sechele is one of South Africa’s most respected dance professionals, a dance champion, choreographer, educator, and mentor dedicated to inspiring excellence in the performing arts.

These three professionals are at the top of their field, yet they generously volunteered their time and talents at four of our centres because they have a genuine heart for bringing dance to underprivileged children.

More than just learning dance, our children learned a powerful life lesson: true success is not something to be hoarded but something to be shared. Watching accomplished professionals freely invest their time, knowledge, and passion into the next generation showed them that the greatest impact comes when we use our gifts to lift others up.

Our children were absolutely thrilled to take part in these workshops, and they will remember them for years to come. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of their school holidays. We are deeply grateful to our guest teachers for inspiring our young people and reminding them that the greatest measure of success is not how much we achieve, but how willingly we share it with others.
