Four remarkable team Sinani members recently earned their stripes as Evergreen Parenting First Steps Facilitators!
First Steps Evergreen Parenting was developed out of the need to empower and encourage parents with no or little educational background. It’s a practical, interactive course that addresses the needs of multi-cultural communities irrespective of langue or literacy levels and embraces parents at their level of education to empower them through relevant advice, resources and training to fulfil their God-given role as parents.
The material was developed with the assistance of a team who have experience working in spheres of formal education, social work, family therapy, farm worker training, adult literacy and rural upliftment, amongst others. The implementation of these principles fosters resilience in communities as households thrive and become whole.
