As hoped for, our Mpakeni Foundations for Farming champion, Elvis Mawela, had an extraordinary harvest!
Although since planting, he has faced many obstacles, including a drought in November, Fall armyworm and a flood earlier this year, he recently delivered his first crop of 500kg to Blinkwater Mill in Mbombela!
We are grateful for our partnership with Foundations for Farming South Africa – an initiative aimed at bringing transformation to individuals, communities, and nations through faithful and productive use of land.
