People from our Teka Takho Disabled Centre were recently treated to an unforgettable experience in the Kruger National Park!
The day tour started at the life centre in Kabokweni, where they were collected and transported to the park in safari vehicles. Having the privilege of being accompanied by experienced safari guides meant that they had amazing experiences and sightings, with the added benefit of being educated about the animals they saw. It was a first for most who joined us, and the highlight of the day was definitely seeing the elephants up close!
Huge thanks to Mfafa Safaris for sponsoring a vehicle for the day and to South African National Parks for involving the resident Environmental Education team at Berg-en-dal Environmental Centre to provide an interactive educational tour.
Most importantly, thank you to Margaux Langley and Hylton Langley from Hylton Langley Safaris and Adventures, along with all your donors, for your kind hearts and generosity!
