This year, the heart of our Care worker Appreciation day was to honor and show our appreciation to our care workers, who give of themselves so selflessly in caring for over 1 200 orphaned and vulnerable children in the different communities we serve.
There was a strong focus on the topic of forgiveness, letting them know that we see them and understand their daily struggles, while also encouraging them to use the valuable power they carry to bring change to their communities.
We were grateful for many open hearts and willing hands from our small groups at Church Unlimited White River, who assisted practically with setting up the venue beautifully, preparing meals, and serving our care workers, and to Trevor Sampson and his team for blessing us with worship.
