Throughout the lockdown, Sinani has been going strong. We do not want to abandon the communities when they need us most. Many organizations are slowing down, but we are keeping our foot on the pedal. We have been delivering food parcels with consistency. We have also ensured that all our kids have masks and that our care centers are creating a culture of wearing them, sanitizing, and practicing social distancing.
We are continuing to care for our kids in the ways we can — both physically (with food parcels, sanitizers, and masks), as well as emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We have connected each of our matrics (grade 12) with a prayer partner. Some are using WhatsApp or Facebook messenger to pray for each other. This love has deeply touched our matrics and they feel encouraged and strengthened to finish their final year of high school.
We are grateful that this increased amount of work has been met with so much support. God’s hand has been over it all and will continue to be, as we faithfully live out the mission in these crazy times. Be sure to take a look at our short video update.
