14 March 2020 marked the start of the Sinani soccer Premier League. Last year, we found that most of our boys become disinterested in the centres around the age of 15, unless there are healthy activities at the centres. We’ve been building teams and finding coaches gradually, along with looking for sponsors. We are grateful to Build it for their participation and support, but need more to be able to continue mid- to long term. The day started off gathering the teams, explaining to them that Jesus is the captain of the SPL and that we will model things like respect, responsibility, love & team. The boys started by singing two songs together as a beautiful time of comradery. The day ended with the Sinani team playing the host community of Zwelisha. We are looking forward to the continuation of the league for many years to come. If you would like to be involved, click here.
