We put our sports ministry training into practice this week with over 100 laughing & cheering orphaned and vulnerable children in a community called Msholozi. For the day, these kids got to be kids, without a worry – while our team spread the gospel through the universal language of sports and play. It was great to see them slowly relax into just being themselves and allowing us to serve them and teach them.
For the first time we had four other communities represented, helping serve children they didn’t know, from a community they aren’t from. While at the end of the day, having formed new friendships with them. It was a great day!
