Another one of our supported projects is called Ukuthunga – Hand Made. It’s a craft project and income generating activity (IGA) in Msholozi, Back Door, Mpakeni and Sabie. With over 50 ladies from these vulnerable community, many of them are widowed or come from vulnerable circumstances with no way to earn a living. Ukuthunga provides a healthy environment for the creation of world class craft products. They’ve been featured in the Lowveld Living Magazine and their products have a reputation for being of amazing custom quality. Their IGA allows them to have purpose and fellowship with other women in similar circumstance. Their current need is a marketing channel for their products. If you love crafts and would like to visit and encourage them, please contact: connect@sinani.org
