Building & Maintenance
If you have been gifted in this area, there are many ways you can help. We have on going needs as it relates to securing our kids and keeping them safe in the communities they live in. We also have projects that that vary from building life centers to putting up a soccer field.
Poverty and health related issues are a deadly combination when they are in under resourced locations. Those left untreated or undiagnosed are prone to long term problems that could easily be avoided. If you have medical experience or even a heart to care for the sick, we can use you!
Reading & Literacy
The illiteracy statistics for South Africa are staggering. If you feel education is a source of empowerment, then we are in agreement. We have many opportunities to simply help our kids read, assist with homework help or even work with us on special programs like entrepreneurship.
Short Term Teams
If you have not ever visited a poor community, you might be surprised at how life changing it can be. We encourage and welcome teams to come. These could be church teams, individuals or couples. We are keen to cater to customizing a team trip for you for maximum impact for our communities and for you.
There are times throughout the year where we have camps or conferences where we need help. We can plug you into a “kids camp” where you could help in various ways or you could join us when we have more ministry focused initiatives.
Looking for an interesting and challenging internship? Sinani is open for a fruitful cooperation and is eager to show you how we work. We are excited to learn from each other.
Ever thought about volunteering for a few months or longer? We are growing and have use for those with a heart to serve the poor. Based on your individual situation, we are happy to see what that could look like in “the land of the rising sun.”
Join our Sinani Volunteer opps WhatsApp group to stay up to date on weekly volunteer opportunities.
In order to continue to impact South Africa and go deeper and further into desperate communities, we need resources. The heart of Sinani is sustainability; to come along side of communities and to encourage them to be independent. This development model takes time and effort. It also takes funding. We are excited that the Sinani model has been recognized throughout South Africa and we want nothing more than to duplicate what has proven to work. In order to do that, we need financial partners. Will you partner with us?
